Latest earnings call — Q2 2026

Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding analyst conference, 18 August 2026

HEISCO delivered a severe bottom-line miss in Q2 2026 despite top-line expansion, driven by acute margin compression in Saudi Arabia and regional geopolitical disruptions. While revenue grew 17% QoQ (+5% YoY) to KWD 55.0m, net profit collapsed 46% QoQ (-40% YoY) to KWD 1.27m due to site shutdowns, poor labor productivity, surging finance costs, and unbilled working capital drag. The thesis shifts defensively: backlog is near record highs at KWD 854m (with line of sight to >KWD 1B), but operational conversion and cash realization are deteriorating, meaning top-line growth is currently margin-dilutive.
