Latest earnings call — Q2 2026

National Industries Group Holding analyst conference, 16 August 2026

NIND’s core operations and portfolio valuations decelerated sharply in H1 2026, though Q2 showed a sequential recovery. H1 2026 net profit collapsed 68% YoY to KD 12.5m (EPS: 5.0 fils vs 15.7 fils in H1 2025), hit heavily by mark-to-market unrealized losses on FVTPL financial assets and margin compression in industrial divisions. However, Q2 2026 standalone net profit slightly improved (+5% YoY) to KD 22.5m (EPS: 9.1 fils), confirming that the bulk of the pain was concentrated in Q1. Key subsidiaries—notably Noor Financial and Al Durra Real Estate—remained resilient, but holding-level performance is increasingly weighed down by soft Boursa Kuwait Premier Market performance, elevated raw material costs, and regional geopolitical drag.
