Latest earnings call — Q2 2026
Mabanee Co K.P.S.C analyst conference, 3 August 2026
Mabanee reported an optically weak H1 2026 with net profit down 35.6% YoY to KD 32.4 million and revenue down 4.5% YoY to KD 65.4 million; however, underlying performance was stable as the prior-year period included a significant one-off land sale gain. Operational momentum is mixed: the core retail portfolio remains highly resilient (The Avenues Kuwait at 98% occupancy), but the hospitality segment is dragging down the top line due to geopolitical disruptions hit travel. The investment thesis remains centered on execution of its massive KD 2.4B development pipeline—led by The Avenues Riyadh (95% complete)—with near-term earnings seeing pressure from pre-operating costs and slight project timeline slippages.
