Latest earnings call — Q2 2026

Kuwait Projects Holding analyst conference, 23 August 2026

KIPCO’s bottom-line decelerated sharply in H1 2026 despite top-line resilience, missing profitability expectations as net profit attributable to shareholders plunged 47.6% YoY to US$ 17.3m (from US$ 33.0m in H1 2025). Group top-line grew 3.5% YoY to US$ 2.58b, bolstered by banking net interest income, but earnings were dragged down by regional geopolitical disruption, severe hyperinflation accounting (IAS 29) at Burgan Bank Turkey, and expanding net losses at healthcare subsidiary ATC. Positively, holding-level deleveraging continued, with net debt-to-equity improving to 0.82x and parent liquidity standing strong enough to cover near-term bond maturities.
