Latest earnings call — Q2 2026
Kuwait Investment Co KSCP analyst conference, 16 August 2026
Kuwait Investment Company (KINV) delivered a weak set of H1 2026 results marked by sharp top- and bottom-line deceleration, primarily driven by regional market headwinds and higher group-level borrowing costs. Consolidated revenue fell 23% YoY, while net profit dropped 45% YoY to KWD 7.0m (parent share at KWD 5.2m). The earnings call was unusually brief with zero analyst participation or Q&A, offering no qualitative depth or forward operational updates. This performance reinforces a defensive, volatile profile typical of market-dependent investment houses in the GCC during regional downturns.
