Latest earnings call — Q2 2026
IFA Hotels and Resorts analyst conference, 19 August 2026
IFAHR’s earnings power decelerated noticeably in Q2/H1 2026 as headline profitability was squeezed by cost escalations at its flagship Dubai developments (Orla and Orla Infinity) and geopolitical disruption weighing on UAE hospitality. While the top line proved resilient due to a growing asset-light, fee-based mix, H1 2026 continuing net profit dropped 22.6% YoY to KD 2.54M (with Q2 continuing NP down 82% to KD 0.52M). There were no consensus estimates provided to establish a formal beat/miss, but the negative surprise lies in the margin drag from associate/JV contributions, offset only partially by strong balance sheet deleveraging. The long-term thesis around luxury Dubai delivery remains intact, but near-term earnings are facing construction cost inflation.
