Latest earnings call — Q2 2026
GFH Financial Group BSC analyst conference, 18 August 2026
GFH delivered a solid H1 2026 with shareholder net profit expanding 13.3% YoY to US$76.2m and ROAE reaching 15.0% (up 330 bps from FY25), driven by an accelerating Wealth & Investment Management division (+48.4% YoY) that compensated for a 27% YoY normalization in Treasury & Proprietary income. Total income grew 4.4% YoY to US$309.8m against disciplined opex growth of 2.2% YoY. While underlying earnings momentum remains intact, the key negative surprise was elevated provisioning at retail subsidiary Khaleeji Bank (US$17.9m of the Group's total US$24.6m ECL) and cash preservation via skipping semi-annual interim dividends.
