Latest earnings call — Q1 2026
Boubyan Petrochemical Co KSCP analyst conference, 24 August 2026
BPCC delivered a steady, inline Q1 2026/27 with net profit up 5.0% YoY to KWD 4.21M (EPS 7.52 fils vs 7.16 fils). Earnings growth is not being driven by organic top-line acceleration, but rather by lower finance costs and defensive performance from the core education assets (Eyas), which offset steep declines in industrial holdings hit by regional trade and supply chain disruptions. The overall investment thesis remains unchanged: BPCC functions as a high-yielding holding company where education stability balances petrochemical/industrial cyclicality.
