Latest earnings call — Q2 2026
Boubyan Bank analyst conference, 23 July 2026
Boubyan delivered a stable, thesis-confirming H1 2026 result with net profit attributable to shareholders rising 5% YoY to KD 54.7M (EPS 10.95 fils), matching guidance expectations despite a 9 bps margin compression and regional macro headwinds. Core credit growth re-accelerated in Q2 as retail lending rebounded alongside corporate, bringing H1 net financing growth to 8% YoY (KD 8.1B). Profitability was aided by strong investment income (+35% YoY) and tight discretionary opex control, though net financing income growth was modest (+4% YoY) due to deposit repricing lags and high liquidity buffers.
